I think people do drugs for a number of reasons:

- They aren't happy with their current state of life

-Preer Pressure

-Emotional Issues

There are more i'm sure..i just can't think of them :x..

Lol. I am very happy with my life. I have no peer pressure because I do it by myself. I also have no emotional issues at all. I just like to smoke weed every now and then

That would be too boring and wouldn't appeal to anyone. That's how media works - if the main character is a certain ethnicity, they have to appeal to the stereotypes within that ethnicity, otherwise, the people who make this stuff don't think anyone's going to like it.
