Halo 3 is by far the best of the series.
My friends and I recieved 4 copies of the game on the 21st and lanned 4-player co-op.
We beat legendary campaign in about 5 and half to 6 hours. It was a short, but great experience.
We also ran through customs being that matchmaking was down, and as far as we could tell from playing the level design was superb.
My only complaint is pretty null because its on the replay feature. I'll still nitpick anyways. The fast forwarding is extremely slow, especially if you are trying to get to a clip at the end of a match.
Anyways, the game is awesome, way to go Bungie.
[QUOTE="honestAB3"]So i have alot more fun with a worse game....it just goes to show you that scores mean nothing. It is all about YOU and FUN.

Clearly you have no idea what reviews are for. Reviews do not tell you how fun a game is, they tell you how good a game is. A proper review is an objective look at the various technical aspects of a game - the gameplay, the sound, the graphical quality, and the value. All of these aspects of the game are scored without bias, and have no relation to the word 'fun'. Much like movie reviews, album reviews, or any review of any kind: they do not tell you how much you'll enjoy the piece of entertainment; however, they do tell you how this item compares to similar items from an objective perspective.Your thinking is extremely flawed. Every human being is biased, every human is either going to like or dislike something no matter how "Indifferent" they say they are and this in turn puts some factor in when giving a review on something.
The point i was trying to get across was that it is his opinion, not mine. What if i feel Rainbow 6 is a terrible game? Who says he is correct. No one, reviews are garbage, they always have been, and they always will be. Humans will make there instinctive choice 80% of the time no matter what other people say.
I'm not going to argue with the score but i will say that i enjoy this game alot more than i do Rainbow Six Vegas. According to Gamespot R6V is a much better game also.

Actually, you're not quite right. It depends on the developer, and the developer's position. The term 'beta' can be placed anywhere throughout a game's development cycle, and developers prioritize differently.project343Completely false. Their are standards in the industry and the development cycle standar goes like this. Concept, pre-production, prototype, production, alpha, beta, gold, and post-production. For marketing and publishing sakes beta can not just be placed anywhere. It will always be right before gold, and sometime after alpha.
[QUOTE="honestAB3"]Gameplay - Very good, but i still think GTR2 is better.
Visuals - Amazing for no use of motion blur.

Amazing? far from it. Theres nothing to be impressed by, its just land, a hill in the background, and a road, and ofcourse your cars. Hopefully the final product will show some impressive lighting and levels.
If you actually are looking at the lighting from a technical standpoint it is pretty damn good. All damage done on your car effects the light accordingly. Like i said, there isn't any motion blur, and motion blur is a games make-up so to speak. You can't just take one word from my sentence. I said "Visuals - Amazing for no use of motion blur.", not "Visuals - Amazing".
I know alot of you haven't got a chance to play the beta yet and are judging Halo 3 off of recent screens and videos, but no matter what you will not see how beautiful it actually is until you are playing it on an HDTV right in front of you.
I was VERY skeptical of the visuals until i played it Saturday night and it looks very well done. Alot of people actually ran around looking at things instead of trying to kill the opposing time :).
