 I'm not trying to bring up an argument here, i'm actually trying to be helpful even though this is System Wars, the masses come here. As a game dev i enjoy seeing gamers happy.

The game would never work out, although i know you can see it would in your mind.

To get the feel of having every character play like they do in their originall game would be extremely hard from a coding point, and extremely hard coming from a balancing. Giving someone a 3rd person camera whereas only a 1st person for the other is already unbalanced. 

The next thing you have to throw in is that you have about 6 different MAJOR licenses up there that would have to be obtained.

If you wanted to you could start to learn C++, any modeling program such as Softimage, Mudbox, or 3DS Max, and Photoshop and make a mod off an engine. I would recommend the source engine as it is very well built and easy to follow.

Those look beautiful.  The line between gameplay and CGI is becoming ever thinner, and if I'm not mistaken this game exploits that by seamleslly going from gameplay to CGI.pejangus

 Blizzards up and coming IP will be Starcraft 2. An massively multi-player online real time strategy game that includes the original three races plus one new. Fight over planet systems to reign supremecy over the entire galaxy.

It is the games that make the consoles, not vice versa. 07' will probably one the of the best years for gaming IN A LONG TIME. Just take a look at what is coming out and has already came out.
