But it does kinda annoy me they announced/promoted this game so early on..not only does it risk a downfall (that hype can bring) it makes the waiting even more unbearable

kids, speaking in general, wont usually spend how much ever it is per month for XBL
only a small minority of kids would probably get XBL

Mommy and Daddy pays for XBL and then the kids get on and trashtalk. I would never ever say there are more "mature" people on XBL than anything. This isn't even a XBL v PSN debate. There are so many immature people on XBL it's not even funny. I can hardly play a single game without there being a jackass on the other side saying something stupid, racist, or just making noises. I'm not saying anything bad about the service, I think it's great, but the userbase (with a mic) has an average maturity level of a 10 year old.

And SOCOM is coming out with a headset this September, right? I read an article somewhere (either here or IGN) that mentioned that. I'm planning onbuying that so hopefully there will be more users with mics after SOCOM comes out.
