[QUOTE="hotwingz85"]I know it's violates the TOS blah, blah, blah but if I just transfer my username and PW to a buyer they'll never know. That being said, I used steamcalculator.com and got an estimated value of $863 for my Steam account. I've pretty much grown out of video games and just want to get rid of it and make some cash. I haven't played it in at least a year, and I hate the thought of just leaving money on the table. Anyone have any luck selling there's in the past? How/where did you sell it? Thanks. alan_carterU'll never sell it for that much. Maybe 200 if u got many good games.. again as u said, it's illegal, best thing u can do is to sell it to a friend, n take the money in hand. I guess thats the only "legal" way to go I know. I wasn't trying to sell it for retail. I'd be happy to get $150 out of it. There are 51 games, and many of those are heavyweight titles.

I just checked their website, even though it's the 15th there's no info on it. Does anyone know if you have to buy from the website or can you go into a store? Thanks. Its too bad i already have most of the games i want this year. There are some hold overs i might get with this deal. I may pick up Batman AC, Ratchet and Clank All 4 One and maybe Dark Souls as the free game this week. How about you?
For those wondering, ToysRUs will be doing things differently this year. You wont be able to return games for full credit, so you wont be able to return games after the sale to get get games you really want later in the year.

Bad troll is badBioShock 1 (BioSHock 2 sucks IMO)
Resistance 1 and 2 (3 sucks)
Half life 2 along with episode 1 and 2.
RAGE
Modern Warfare 2 (Epic epic single player IMO)
If you play borderlands by yourself, you suck and you don't deserve to play games. Crysis 1 sucks, play Crysis Warhead on PC instead. Killzone sucks, good eye candies, crap gameplay.

Resistance 3. Bioshock, call me crazy but I liked MoH a lot.

I don't know if I'd necessarily call you crazy. I enjoyed the campaign of MoH a lot, and generally defend it. There were just a few issues with it that I didn't care for (headshot indicators really broke the immersion for me and made it more arcade-y, it was a little short for my tastes, and the story didn't really pick up in a meaningful way for me). Other than that I enjoyed the combat and pacing of the campaign, and often defend it as a better game than most of my friends give credit. Hopefully they'll improve on these things for the (inevitable) sequel, I think this reboot has a lot of potential.
Also, this leaves multiplayer completely out of the question, that's a topic I've beaten to death about MoH's online identity complex :P
Oh I agree 100% with that. My point was just that it doesn't quite follow the micro-transaction model by asking people to shell out ~$50 at once. Home is the micro-transaction model. Oh I'll buy this virtual hat, it's only 50 cents.[QUOTE="The_Rick_14"][QUOTE="MonkeySpot"]
No, but they ARE getting folks used to paying on a regular, renewing basis which is pay-to-play no matter how the payments break down. I think it's fine for the faithful, but I don't really need it for how often I play a CoD game. I would say if it's your thing, roll with it. But like the EA Online Pass, this is setting some dangerous precendents.

If you want a dog to take a pill, you put it in something so that it smells appetizing.

I thnk they know that out-right presenting it for what it is wouldn't hook as many people.
You nailed it my good sir. It goes back to the old "frog in boiling water" analogy.[QUOTE="hotwingz85"][QUOTE="assultrider"]From my understanding, it's a stat-tracking system, social service, DLC delivery system, etc. all rolled into one package. Halo has something similar, and it's completely free. COD Elite is nothing I would spend $60 for. It just encourages more nickel and dimming on the part of publishers. Besides, I'm more of a SP fan anyway, so this doesn't appeal to me. Does the Halo version have real prizes for winning competitions? I'm unfamiliar with it. Don't think so. I think it's just more of a stat tracker/social service.I'm considering getting call of duty elite, not for the DLCs rather for the competitions. I know that there will be in game and real life prizes, and there are competitions everyday but does anyone know what the prizes include? Or what types of competitions there are?
Thanks :)
