Then just buy a physical copy. No one is proposing doing away with physical copies.

Avoid used games. Purchase only new/sealed or download your games directly.

In a way, I'm okay with this. But let me download the games to all my own consoles and bypass the disc.
Most games I buy new anyway. Maybe Game stop would have to adapt somehow - like improving their customer service model.

You're absolutely right. That is the only viable gaming platform. The others are just a complete waste.
