TO zhevox You obviously didn't read my post. Buying an Xbox 360 is gonna cost you the same if not more than a PS3 in the long run. Helloooo?? Xbox USB 2.0 HD-DVD external Drive = 200$ Xbox Live Gold=69.99$ a YEAR TO PLAY ONLINE Do the math
Another thing I don't understand about gamers bashing the PS3. It just came out guys. Give it some time. I, as a gamer am extremely happy that Sony is sending Firmware updates, just like the Xbox 360 did when it was 1st released. X360 had actually many problems at it's initial release (overheating for one). It's cool that a company is taking care of their customers by updating their system hardware, their system operating system. So, gamers, just be patient, PS3 just came out, and once it becomes more and more available through stores for us gamers, it will rock. Remember, it took a while for the 360 to pick up too. And now, only after a year, the system is starting, and I say this very loosely, starting to look good. I have an XBox360, and quite honestly, I enjoy my PC a tad more. Why, cause I have only three 360 games that I like. I will eventually buy the PS3 as well. Why? Cause there's about 10 games right now on a list of 208 that look really. interresting. One lst note: To people saving up their money to buy a PS3 or a XBox 360, BUY AN HDTV FIRST. IT'S TOTALLY USELESS TO PLAY PS3 or XBOX360 on a 480i CRT (TUBE TV). You absolutley need to see the picture difference on 720p or 1080p. I recommend LCD Tv's...and if your budget is tight, go for an LCD projection (SXRD by sony). If not, just buy a Wii. It's a rehashed gamecube with innovative controls.

I have a Sapphire Radeon X850XT Platinum Edition 256M and my PC runs games at ease. This card still rocks, especially with a nice rig. I run Quake 4, Doom 3, Prey, F.E.A.R., Half Life 2, Sin Episodes, Oblivion at 90% Full settings (always on 1280*1024) which is insane!!!!!! I run Need For Speed Most Wanted, Fable, Flatout 2, Far Cry, Call of Duty 1 and 2, NHL 07, Hitman Blood Money, Tomb Raider Legend, King Kong, Chronicles of Riddick, Halo, UT2004, POP:T2T, GodFather, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars: Republic Commando and much more at FULL Settings (always on 1280*1024). It's an awsome card which I bought just about 2 years now and it still kicks some major *ss. Just felt like sharing this. When I bought it, I told myself to go and buy the most expensive card out there and this card was the flagship card for ATI at the time. I dished out over 500$ for this card and it hasen't dissapointed me yet. I can still OC'it too and get about 50MHz gain on my GPU clock speed. A little advice for people who would like to upgrade. Get the best, get the most out of it. Here is my setup (Gonna hit 2 years now): AMD64 S754 3700+ (Clawhammer core) ABit KV8Pro 2 GIGs of RAM (Kingston) 2 * 1024M DDR 400 Dual Channel Saphire ATI Radeon X850XT Platinum Edition 256M 250G SATA2 Maxtor HDD Antec True Power 550W + Antec Sonata Enclosure Logitech Z5500 Speakers I love my PC...until I purchase the PS3 :-) Please Sony, don't be stupid and release a VGA or DVI cable like Microsoft did with the X360. Not everybody has an HDTV...don't you agree guys?
