Its interesting to see people comment how the dialogue wheel in DA:VG feels so outdated after playing BG3.
The dialogue wheel was always bad. I have disliked Dialogue Wheels since Mass Effect 1. The The dialogue wheel is one of the main reasons I stopped playing BioWare games. But yes, now that a mainstream smash hit like BG3 has shown, just how bad dialogue wheels really are compared to dialogue trees.
I hope that if BioWare is still around, they will decide to retire the dialogue wheel. Nobody seems to like it anymore. It was also panned in Fallout 4.
always hated it, goddamn awful in an RPG when you don't actually know what your character is going to say
@ghosts4ever: Not all of us can lower our standards and play a 6/10 game over and over like you Ghosts. You have heart, I will give you that.
Stalker is better than most of the shit this forum plays.
If we're honest. Ghost generally actually has pretty good taste in games. People do not give them credit due to arrogance.
Stalker is a game that indeed launched with jank, and required mods to reach it's full potentail.
Does this excuse it? No. But when reviewing it when mods are attached, it's one of the most memorable FPS experience people can have.
Ghost got taste in FPS games i give you that. But STALKER is kinda overhyped , its really 6/10 game along with METRO series...imo. Great FPS games this gen are Doom 2016/Eternal , Halo Masterchief Collection/Infinite.
Something like Bioshock, Killzone, Resistance, that sort of thing, firmly label as overrated.
Don't think Stalker even comes close to above games specially Bioshock 1 and 2 Remastered , Resistance Triology specially 2, Killzone 2 lol.
Yet the only game out of those I'd still replay to this date is Stalker with mods, rest no thanks
How is Space Marine 2 at 18th and it sold 4.5 million copies? Were most the sales in Europe ?
no digital sales included
Digital included Astro would most likely be #4 or 5, which isn't bad on one platform for a platformer not named mario
Shame path tracing is off the table as even the flagship AMD card can't juice it, atm pretty much only reserved for nvidia cards
Still there's some neat stuff for the Pro version and good point about the AI upscalers regarding internal res
And it only took 1 billion dollars to release this game :)
squadron 42 has a sliver of a chance of getting a "release", the main game is never getting one
watched the dragons dogma2 pro footage and nowhere in that clip does it run through the most demanding part of the city, so until they can do like for like comparisons that game doesn't really provide shit for analysis
LMFAO, It provided PLENTY for the analysis because every other compared system was shown in the SAME area as the PS5 Pro footage was shown running in.
Saying you need to see more before you're convinced is understandable, but saying "that game doesn't really provide shit for analysis" is copium at dangerous levels.
Going to a more demanding area isn't going to make those other systems sudden perform any better vs the Pro, nor will it change the massive advantage in superior image quality PS5 Pro is showing.

All these comparisons were conducted in the same exact areas.
Also, review the first video I posted where DF did their initial PS5 Pro Dragons Dogma reaction....

Rich:
"Oliver, can you talk us through your testing. I guess there is 2 things here. First of all, how does the base compare to the pro as close as we can get them in similar scenarios where we KNOW the CPU is stressed..."
This actually IS a stress area on the CPU in Dragons Dogma, which even DF, in their heavily manipulated testing, admitted to, so..🤷♂️
and I can tell you 100% that is not the most demanding area, have you actually played the game? them saying CPU is stressed does not equal to being bottlenecked by it, nobody is denying the game doesn't perform better in the section of the city we have footage from on the Pro? But if it's not actually CPU limited then you cant really judge CPU performance?
