With 2000$ you are not playing games on 4k with 60fps unless the games are years old/not demanding.

The current top cards are barely capable of running 1440p with all maxed on 60fps, the jump from 1440p to 4k is huge, meaning you need multiple gpu's

Dual 980ti, cpu, mobo, rams, ssds, case, psu and you are over 2000$ easily and on top of that you need that 4k monitor too.

Top of the line ain't cheap.

compared to surface pro 4 the ipad pro is indeed a toy, but I guess it does ok for updating your instagram from your local starbucks
