I have quite a few, but not much HDD space so I uninstalled some games to free some space, this are the current games I have installed

the sata cable goes from the sata hard drive connector to the motherboard not to the PSU

the PSU molex (power connector) goes to the Hard drive

Maybe this is why your motherboard can't see the installed HDD, have you checked this?

the hard drive has 2 connections 1 for power and the other for data transfer look

you need to connect the sata cable too

PS the hdd in the picture is a laptop hdd but your hdd has the same connections

i think starcraft is pretty good for a kid to learn the basics, im teaching my nephew how to play it, he wanted to play supreme commander and I let him just to see the mess he would make, i was laughing, then I put starcraft to show him what to do, he's learning fast

your son will be ok with starcraft.

PS if your son has some trouble with the game, you can always use some cheat like

the invincibility = power overwhelming

just until he gets the hang of it.

there's a little program called Process XP made by sysinternals who was gobbled up by microsoft last year, this program let you see what's going on in your machine, it's like the windows task manager but is way better.

if you place the cursor over one of the (svchost process) you will see what programs are running in that particular svchost, you can kill processes that are suspicious or see how much ram are they using

this program will not help you if you have a virus, but will inform you of a lot of things that run on your OS, If you want to download it here's the link

and to answer your Question Yes I think this is unusual use of ram, I use windows XP I assumed you too , don't know if this program works in other OS

I loved takedown, then came revenge and it was awesome, but paradise is nowhere near as funny as it's predecessors, I don't like how EA managed to destroy one of the best games taking features off, and the road this is going, sad !!!
