@keldarironfist: retial pc games are just drinks coasters now, i agree, i still have a lot of older pc games that are DRM free but now i won't buy any new pc games because of the DRM, i just buy them on consoles until that changes to online activation aswell.
@brianoblivion: the minecraft story is even worse, all you get on the disc is episode 1 and the rest you have to download via a voucher code, so buying it used will be a waste of time!
thanks for the heads up on game of thrones, i was going to buy that too, in future i can't wait patiently for teletales to release the disc version anymore because of what they do now, a bit frustrated by that.
i'm surprised the re-release of back to the future 30th anniversary was not a voucher code, everything was on the disc thankfully.
@santinegrete: what's worse is if the publishers adapt this type of DRM on console games where we have to activate the retail game via the internet we will have a huge major problem, but with the way things are going i wouldn't be surprised if we saw something similar or exactly like how pc does it.
