Alright I have a PS4 right now and I also am thinking about getting an Xbox one S. And with the [awesome] overwatch halloween update that released, I thought about buying overwatch on PS4, only to realize it is 60 DOLLARS. Now I don't know about you, but even when I buy games new on release day,I pay 45 dollars max using g2a or another PC reseller. The closed ecosystem of consoles makes it so prices of games are just straight up ludicrous. This situation is slightly better on Xbox due to them being losing which made them have better gwg and Xbox sales. What are your thoughts guys? Are console prices insane for you too?
Yes I have a tv with 4K hdr. The issue here is not getting the Xbox just on the fence about waiting for Scorpio
No I just like the console as a whole more. I like the controller, the interface, 4K content and hdr [real hdr not that PS4 update one] More online players, better GWG, better store, better store sales, better media box, backwards compatibility, exclusives backlog etc
Ok so I already have a PS4 that I LIKE, but generally other than exclusives does not do much for me. I am going to get bashed for this but I simply like the Xbox one better, and the S was the reason I want an Xbox very badly right now. So I know I should probably wait for Scorpio, but I can not wait over a year for the console. So my question is, is the performance gap really that noticeable for you people who have both? Will I get an Xbox one and instantly regret it when I play a game, or will I not notice it.
@MightyMuna: Sorry I was not clear. If I get a PS4 pro I would trade my PS4 in. I would keep the PS4 and buy the Xbox one s otherwise
I like PS4 exclusives more but if I got an xbone I would get an entertainment system and access to both libraries
So at first I was very bent on not getting a new console until the next generation. But I have softened up to the idea and decided I need something new anyway, as I have a 4K tv. So the Xbox one S seems like a good way to get exclusives and an entertainment system in one for a very cheap price. I have never had an Xbox before. On the other hand the PS4 pro seems like it would benefit my TV more but it has no blu-ray player and it seems like my PS4 I have already+ power. Advice?
I don't really see what's wrong with it. I mean I have a ps4 because I like the exclusives but thinking about getting an Xbox one s because the UI,store, and overall features appeal to me. Is there a single huge reason why I should not get it, or why you do not like it? Also never had a MS console
