There's no way sony will keep the console gen at about 8 years with the ps4.5 coming out. The gen would be too short as it feels like another console. Would this upgrade make the gen even longer? The naming scheme and document leaks made it seem like an upgrade. I do not know how I feel about a 10 year generation.

They can finally go third party! No one actually likes Nintendo consoles, let's be honest, subpar online, subpar store, terrible friend system. We like the games. When the NX makes Nintendo fail yet again, they might go third party and we can finally have amazing games on amazing consoles. Perfect scenario. I will be waiting for the day when I can play Mario on a playstation.
