The game releases first in Australia, they'll obviously get the patch before their March 8 midnight, and we'll get it before launch too, given the history of the last two betas being availiable for pre-download before launch. And I've never had a new release game witha day one patch where I went to play at midnight and had to wait an hour, every thing has always been ready to go at launch, with every game I have ever played on xbox one. Except Destiny because over crowded shitty servers.

@haanabi89: I'm deciding between Doom and Dark Souls 3. I can either buy Dark Souls 3 in April but only if I've stockpiled enough food in March. Or i can wait for Doom in May and stockpile food over 2 months and won't have any issues. Decisions!

@R4gn4r0k: If you have instant on set, most likely it will just download when available. Like when you are sleeping, and you will wake up to find it all downloaded, and your day will get off to a good start. Or so you thought...
