@patsfan365: Okay, well that is even worse than. Basically buying people's loyalty through free games has to be costing them. They still are not even close to being as popular as steam and lots of people avoiding them still altogether.

If they are making money, and I am wrong about them financially, than they need to AGAIN get their shit straight. Start investing LOTS of money into making their launcher something to rival Steam. If they want to be a contender against Steam, than they need to work on the spokes and gears. You can't just grab all the exclusives and have a shitty launcher/support. That will turn gamers off REAL fast. People will just pirate the games if they can't buy it on steam and don't want to deal with a horrible launcher.

@MigGui: It isn't about that for me at this point. I am willing to give Epic a go, but their launcher is a horror story. Its absolutely bare bones compared to what steam has to offer. Steam offers customer feedback, cloud saves, and a workshop for mods. There are probably a ton more features I am not even mentioning. Epic needs to be working EVERY DAY on their launcher if they want to attract more people.

It isn't just about the games. Its about the convenience in the launcher itself.

@Barighm: I honestly don't see how Epic can survive without bringing more to the table. They still have a really bad launcher, even after all this time. The selection of games is still garbage compared to steam. Giving away 1 free game a month will cost them quite a bit in the long run I would imagine.

They don't seem to be showing that they care enough about their stability as a competitor honestly. One big thing that exposes this, is the bare bones launcher as I have stated before. Nobody wants to buy a game on a launcher that doesn't support cloud saves and has extra benefits like "steam workshop" features.

Epic wants to be charitible to the developer, but they STILL have the shittiest fucking launcher and support. Maybe they should spend all their time and effort on making a launcher that is worth talking about. FFS, I would rather have all my games on steam, but willing to compromise if they brought the same support that Steam has. Right now they have nothing but garbage.

Uh, didn't Disney get exposed for FAKE ratings and how great the movie is doing? In fact I am almost certain I saw something on a Youtube channel that said the movie was one of the worst.

@lion2447: Here is hoping the artist who did the first sonic goes back to getting some education on what the hell IP characters are supposed to look like. It wasn't even close.

If they were good enough to get the design right the first time instead of having to redo it, maybe they'd still have their jobs?

This is what I was thinking. It is their own fault really, and whoever came up with the first sonic design needs to stay the freaking hell away from IP characters forever. You can't possibly have made Sonic any more ugly.
