after titanfall i couldnt really justify owning a $330 console just to play one game that i already got my fill of (great game, but im done) and seeing no xbox exclusives that appeal to me in the near future i decided to sell it and get my money back (got 370 if ur curious). i already own over 100 digital games on my 360 and i felt the urge to play some of em again (im driven by impulse). i dont regret buying an xbone, i dont regret selling it, i do somewhat regret selling my old 360 (since i just bought it back essentially) so i come to this forum to ask.

anyone here do the same, feel there xbone is gathering dust, or just like there 360 a lil more than there xbone

im a hitman fan and i liked it.

the little things got on my nerves tho, wearing a mask should at least have some effect on being detected. other little things got me annoyed, but on the whole it was a great addition to the hitman library. not as good as contracts or blood money but better than 2 (never beat the first one). more levels where ur killing targets and less sneaking only levels wouldnt have hurt either.

Don't like to repeat myself, but do you see why single player is being put aside by developers? Because even when games have kickass campaigns, people don't play them. Prepare for a future with nothing but CoD clones and identical MOBAS, people.

there is a big leap from people not completing their games, to there being nothing but COD clones and mobas in the gaming market. not beating a game doesnt hurt the developer and therefore doesnt impact the market. so people that bought skyrim didnt beat it, as long as they bought it, its irrelevant. now if people didnt buy it cause they dont intend on beating it thats one thing, but the fact that people rarely beat their games means nothing, its a "fun fact" at best. developers want people to buy their games they dont care if they beat em. game trends are a lil too complicated to be influenced by such a trivial fact to such a degree.

anything related to final fantasy 13 is garbage, and im not saying that as a manner of a fanboy blindly spewing hate but the objective analysis of all three games based solely on there own merits and finding each and every one of them lacking of even the slightest amount of redeeming qualities. i honestly have no idea why they made 3 games in the 13 arc.

i didnt give 2 S***s about the fact the game was linear, the fact that every character was a bad joke ruined it for me. hated every single one of the characters except for the end boss guy; i played it at launch so my memory on the matter isnt too specific but he was the least cartoonish. i honestly cant fathom why they made two (F****in 2!!!) sequels. final fantasy games have had some great and some horrible characters but ff13 was all "horrible". we get no ff6/7 remake or sequel, no final fantasy 15, and 3 garbage cans

im playing ff14arr and its pretty great, doesnt have as much content as something like wow but thats to be expected since wow is old as fudge, but for what it is, it is great.

Gameplay is the most important part of a game just as imagery is the most important part of film.

Whether I enjoy story or voice actors or not is irrelevant to what distinguishes games from other mediums.

Heres the thing, If the Story or Voice Acting suck I can always skip it and get back to the part that matters most that I can't get anywhere else..... The Gameplay.

Cutscenes, Story, Voices are not necessary for games, they are necessary for people, and since so many people need these things they assume its necessary for games to have them too. And if you think these things are very important to games, objectively or subjectively, then you might wana reconsider if you chose the right medium to experience them, bare in mind some of these features actually have to put the gameplay on hold to be executed.

Movies a phrase: "Don't Tell me, Show Me"

if only it were the same for games: "Don't Show me, Let Me !"

im not gonna argue with ur view of all that matters is game play, im glad you can skip the story and mute the music and still have a blast, but i believe that games are the sum of their parts.

but as to your "Heres the thing, If the Story or Voice Acting suck I can always skip it and get back to the part that matters most that I can't get anywhere else..... The Gameplay." the opposite is just as possible; if the gameplay sucks and you just want the music and story you can look it up on youtube. people may stomach the crappy gameplay if the story/visuals/music/whatever are more appealing than the gameplay.

game looks shallow, combats looks lacking, exploration looks lacking, graphics look nice, 1/3 is bad in my book. im not paying 60 more dollars to play a game that makes me go "meh"

i dont mean to offend but such simple games are beneath me.
