and i gotta say, im ok with it.

its a LOT of data gone, and while ill miss my perfect FFT (my main group deleveled and releveled to a point where an "easy" game is now broken :P ) and FF7 (all 3 of my guys had master summon/magic/command as well as 4x cut, phoenix-final attack, etc) i beat most of my games on the console and i dont really mind playing fft and 7 again (i would eventually for no reason anyway) so its just a few games ill have to start over with and i kinda saw it coming so i put tales of grace f's save in the cloud.

if this happened at any other time id prolly be pissed (glad i platinumed blood money when i did; the same day my ps3 got the ylod) but i really dont care too much. oh and i lost my vita saves cause sony's "backup" file function is apparently a joke, which i found out AFTER i backed up my files and formated it (to play japan's psn titles)

i remember gettin pissed as a kid when this happened to my memory cards (usually after taking my console to a family gathering, apparently the only game they knew how to play was "hey, lets delete everything from his memory card")

anywho, how would you are did you react if/when this happened to you? if it did, how did it?

(oh, and i guess techinally i lost my 360 data too, but thats cause i formatted it to sell it.)

i downloaded all my games on my new ps3 (which was its own pain in the ass)

so now i have 50 files i have to install one by one, waiting for it to finish, pressing "O" waiting for it to delete, then moving to the next game.

anyway to "select multiple" games and install all of em automatically one after another?

Rockstar games have always been pretty shit to me, so I guess I'd recommend FF13.

This is really like picking between rotten eggs and moldy bread.  I mean, I had a fun with FF13, but there's no way I'd pick it up again.... ever.

MLBknights58

this man will lead you down a path of ruin

red dead is fantastic

and he greatly undersells the shittyness that is ff13

opinions are opinions

these are "facts"

edit:

for a lil more insight

if you play ff13 cause you liked any other final fantasy, you will not be pleased with 13

rdr is a flawless game (that still isnt for everyone i suppose) that you will love if you are a GTA fan

[QUOTE="Coolyfett"]

[QUOTE="SolidTy"]Lesson is, people should take their naming schemes more seriously before they commit to an account. I thought this was obvious...

I do agree, it would be nice for those PS gamers (and other platforms) that make horrible non-future proofed names, but I plan out my naming very carefully.

SolidTy

Coolyfett has had the same email address since 1997, the same cell phone number since 2001, the same PSN account since 2008. Thats just Coolyfett though. Coolyfett makes great choices.

Coolyfett seems to have planned out and committed to his e-naming quite well. :P

simple folk dont like change

[QUOTE="Coolyfett"]Cmon dude, they tell you when you sign up to PICK A GOOD NAME YOU WANT FOREVER, it says that when you first create the PSN Account, it does so for PSP and PS3, not sure if that message is displayed on the Vita sign up, but yea Coolyfett read that message on both systems.

Coolyfett

they say a lot of things. they said my ps3 could run linux when i got it. food for thought.

Learn how to read warning labels. A user can NOT changed ther user id & thats that.

u obviously arent worth conversing with since you are clearly a troll or just stupid ... both?

only thing i gave up on (meaning i actually tried) was beating ninja gaiden 2 on master ninja, on the 360 tho (funny side note: on "mentor", the diff under "master ninja", it took me 4 hours to beat the level 1 boss. i think  it was cause i was getting too pissed, hurting my performance; i didnt have that much trouble with any other boss, but i must of died over 1000 times in the entire playthru)

there are a lot i didnt even try cause i knew it would be either impossible or no fun.

i usually play a game, beat it, than consider achievement (trophy) hunting so i can get a better feel for whats fun or even possible.

10,000 online wins in "armored core: whichever"? "go **** urself" is my replay to that achievement, never even attempted it (i dont know if i even played that specific "armored core"), i just laughed when i saw it.

[QUOTE="i-rock-socks"]

in the ps4's lifespan?

i would love to pick a new username since i really didnt intend to use this account much, and it started with just one game, then another, and now i have 47 ps1 classics and countless other titles.

if i only lost my trophys id start a new one, but i cant walk away from my gaming library. i can change my name in real life if i wanted to, why the hell not my psn ID? charge me, fine, but just give me the option, still pissed someone stole my name ><

i liked it; better than average, well polished little romp.

i never touched the multiplayer and i didnt think it was an "amazing" game

but its a great game, maybe its not ur thing.

never thought the game looked jerky or unpolished

maybe u should of got it on the 360?

game's story fell flat, but its been over 10 years since i played a game that didnt. voice acting was still good.
