Paper books will outlast ebooks.

Really, ebooks are near their death bed with the release of tablets.

Tablets are a horrible concept and an even worse eBook reader. Seriously, I can't read more than a couple of minutes with that thing during the dark, and it's impossible to read in well-lit environments.

I hope they replace books entirely, for inumerous reasons:

- Doesn't occupy as much space.

- E-books are considerably cheaper, along with the books that don't have author rights that you can get for FREE.

- Is much more eco-friendly: who knows how many billions of paper pages are printed yearly, and how many less would be avoided if the virtual counterpart of books were more utilized.

- Easier to carry. The Kindle weighs a few hundred grams: a fact you'll remember and thank every time you read LoTR.

- Easier to preview if you aren't sure about buying the book.

- The new e-readers are just as comfortable, if not more, than regular books: with applications for writing notes, searching the dictionary for words and sharing your opinion on books, on-the-fly.

These are only a few of them.

This will probably be my first time running through Cave Story. I was gonna buy the Wiiware version but I'll wait for this.

Good to know. I hope they make use of the Wii controls, instead of just porting whatever they make on the PS3/360 to it. Spyro could be interesting with motion controls, though I'm probably not buying the game: I'm not going to collect a bunch of useless statues just to have different characters.

I hope it doesn't. Don't get me wrong: the movie's good, and nowadays, that's saying a lot. It did well by not doing bad, but it isn't exceptional. They focused too much on the action.

In any case, I think either True Grit or The King's Speech are going to win best picture. Inception is definitely winning an Oscar, though: probably best visual effects or something of the sort.
