ya brah too bad the new arcade units have jasper chips and a new disk drive that makes your arguement valid maybe in 2008. (and i currently have a zephyr model 20 gig pro, basically the highest prone model there is for RROD. and its going on 2.5 years, sooooo is my console some miracle of nature??)

i have both systems, but much more invested in the xbox. both systems are good, but i still feel you can make the arguement you only need 1.

for xbox:

alan wake

gears series

mass effect series

halo series

pc gamers, nobody cares that most of those games are on PC. she's asking about buying an xbox not a PC.

all those other subpar exclusives mentioned above.

san andreas is on xbla, you dont need to buy the hardcopy.

its totally worth it. xbl with friends is a lot better than psn with friends. plus more people with mics in games.

Having these JASPER chipsets means little, jlevin860. Jaser has only been out for a year, so we don't know if XBOX 360's are fixed or relaiable. I mean, so what if Microsoft can keep XBOX 360's from breaking for a year....maybe even 2, but again, So what? A whole year of "fixed" qualifies as fixed in terms of "industry standards", but that doesn't translate into RELIABLE for Consumer standards, nor mine. Like I said...XBOX's are barely worth the plastic that encases them....$99 is all I'm willing to pay for that piece of junk....seriously.

Also, XBOX 360's highest rated exclusive isn't "for" XBOX only....which helps solidify XBOX 360 as a more generic console. it has a few exclusive AAA titles franchises...unfortunately...too few.

Finally, as I've personally witnessed by all the bad behavior, racism, cursing and name calling......XBOX LIVE serves as a great test case for mics being overrated.

When my xbox broke from RROD i wasn't under warranty but they still let me send it in for free and I got it back in two weeks. Haven't had problems since then, which was two years ago.

She said that she didn't have a gaming PC, which means all the games 360 shares with PC (like L4D which kicks mega-ass) are exclusive.

All onlines have whiney kids, 360 doesn't have any more than PC or PS3. And finding cool people to play with on any of the consoles is pretty easy.

Heavy Rain's models just look unnatural imo,like manikins at times.
