You'd be better getting a decent set of open-back headphones (I use Sennheiser HD555's), and just wear a normal wired mike around your neck (with speech set to come out of the speakers). Most of the gaming headsets I've looked at and tried are overpriced and don't offer either good sound quality or effective communication.
you plug the normal xbox live mic into the controller, then you plug the sennhieser into the audo cables or something like from the tv?
i am thinking of getting a gaming headset i want to know if they are worth it. i am looking at the turtle beach x1, turtle beach x3, and the tritton ax360.
i have 2 gold xbox live acounts. one for me and one for my brother. we have one xbox 360. I know that you cant play cod4 and codWAW with 2 live acounts on xbox. i would like to know what games can we play on live together with 2 live acounts on 360.

i am looking for a game that is not a fps, i would like the game to be a rpg. to have a good single player game and have online play. (not a mmo). thank you for your help people.
