Yeah that topic title wasnt so clever but im about to have my wisdom teeth taken out shortly after and i just wanted to know several things.

1 : How was your experience? Painful? Regular day? Meh?
2 : Any tips after the wisdom teeth is removed? How to prevent the blood from gushing?
3 : Im scared :?
4 : Is it as bad as everyone says?

1 - It only started to hurt when the freezing wore off :P

2 - Gauze (sp?). Lots of it. And try not to move your mouth around a lot.

3 - Don't be. They gave me something to relax me, and I woke up right when the surgery was finished. I didn't remember a thing.

4 - Well, my cheeks were swollen and I lived off of soup for 2 weeks... Plus, my mouth got VERY sore sometimes. But it was nothing too serious. You'll be fine :)

Good luck. And eat hearty, because you won't be able to enjoy real food for a bit.

Nope, because apparently I was conscious, I was just REALLY out of it :P

But then again, my wisdom teeth were still embedded in my gums, so I'm guessing they gave me a stronger sedative.
