I'm assuming it's accurate considering it was on the PlayStation site and they didn't say anything about it. If they were incorrect they would've said "only pre-orders, you won't be able to purchase until Sept 1st" or whatever.

Uh, he's right, it is outdated.

The point of it was the add longevity. Now with online, there's more people to play against than your occasional friend coming over (unless both of you were diehard fans of the same franchise, it's not like you were going to play everyday) and the CPU. Now there's online.

I haven't bothered going out of my way to unlock anyone in Street Fighter IV. It's unnecessary. Fighting games is the most skill required genre. I would rather compete against other actual humans instead of wasting my time trying to unlock people I'll probably never use.

SSB does take skill, in fact I think it's one of the most skill-required fighters. However, I believe it takes the backseat to the Street Fighter franchise. Sure it looks like any other 2D fighter but it's not. There's other aspects that come into play like zoning, spacing, etc.

People cry about Sagat and how people just spam Tiger Shots. If you're truly a skilled player, you'll find away around it. Back in Street Fighter 2 where it did significant chip damage, Umehara Daigoused Balrog at Evo 2004 against one of the top SF2 players, John Choi. Regarded as the best Sagat user, he did what most people cry about. Spam tiger shots, because that's part of spacing and controlling the match, pace, etc. and what did Daigo do? As any player with more skill does. Completely dominated him.

Go check it out on YouTube.

So as much as people want to say "SF takes no skill you can just spam moves and win" you can't. If you lose to someone who spams moves, you're just as bad them because you couldn't counter it.

If I had a gaming PC I would, but I want to play Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell so I'm not taking that chance.

Clearly. This game has a silence submachine gun. It's bordering on revolutionary.

..who said it's revolutionary? Did you ever think maybe he is a fan of Halo and is anticipating ODST? I swear fanboys these days fail. I miss the days where fanboys were actually entertaining, all they do is spew out the same crap over and over again. It's so predictable what every forum user is going to say. You can look at someone's sig/avatar and get it down word for word.

Halo is for nerds? It's the most mainstream title out there besides The Sims and World of Warcraft..

If you're going to make a troll account, at least pick a good name.

[QUOTE="iRezarektah"]

1) The community is terrible, I don't care what anyone says. Every game is unplayable. COD's a joke, Halo? Lol. Ican't remember the last time I finisheda game with everyone still in the room. These days I play Halo to see how many people are going to quit in the first minute. So far the record is 5, anyone beaten that? Gears is a joke, it's host selection is terrible and host is so overpowered it's ridiculous. My brother barely plays Gears (he's more of a fighter) and when he gets host, he goes 20-3 or something like that. No noob should ever be allowed to go 20-3.

2) You can't get Madden for 360? Lol. Almost every Madden tournament is on PS3, not to mention most people on the 360 suck and just like in Halo, people love to quit. I haven't made it past half time because the other guy never makes it past mid-field and he cries about me cheating.

PrimusGears

lol ok yet Madden on 360 will probably double the sales of the PS3 lol

..and how does that benefit you? Oh, right, it doesn't.

You make 360 gamers like myself look bad. Just GTFO the site.
