Never have your PS3 repaired by Sony. It is overpriced and you don't get your own PS3 back...

I recommend seeking repair from Gophermods. They're very reputable, have an excellent BBB rating, and a much longer warranty option than Sony. They are also cheaper and will repair YOUR PS3 and back up data for you before they start working to ensure you get all your data back too.

I recommend reballing since it is the superior repair method and the PS3 shouldn't give you anymore problems for a LOOOOOOONG time :) Good luck man. I just went through this ordeal, and I know how much it sucks.

If SONY came up with a handheld that's a lot better than the 3DS in every form and way you can possibly think of.

If the handheld had better hardware, graphics, higher scoring games, better battery life and just better everything in general, the 3DS will still sell more.

Terrible game. I tried to get into it but couldn't. I don't understand how it got 10's. Heck, I don't even understand how people can like that game. It's so slow paced and just BORING. Worst game I've ever played. And that's saying a lot. I've played probably over 10,000 games in my lifetime.ImBleedingLAWL

Playing the first two would help get a feel for the gameplay and the story, although like xsynth said, the ending of R2 creates a dramatic shift for R3. If you're interested in multiplayer, you might be spending a lot of time in the lobby, not sure what the Resistance online presence is right now.meteo_ryte
