I live in Anchorage, Alaska and this Friday is going to be our final day at school, but the actual graduation will be the following Thursday, the 15th.

When is your graduation? I am just curious to see how long some people have to stay in school, and our actual school year ends on the 28th of this month.

Catch-22 by Joseph Heller

A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole

Both are rather modern, but still great.

Maybe even how pointless both Waiting for Godot and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, even though they are both pointless, they are forever entertaining.

I can't stand the lyrics and the rythem to any country song for ten seconds without wanting to shoot the person that has it turned on.

I live in Anchorage and attend East. Our prinicple just talked to us in the auditorium about not doing senior pranks and not walking if you do do one about a week ago, I doubt that anyone really would do anything at East.

Last time that I went there was for my little brother's 12th birthday, most of his friends that came were my friends younger siblings, so I just messed around with all of them.

But I won't go if friends asked me to, only for family member's birthdays.

Through out my "high school life," (I'm a senior) my school has had a total of seven fights. We're a rather large school too, around 2,500. Most people are kind to one another. The ones that aren't just avoid each other rather than fight over something trivial.

But everyone sticks to their "clique" exclusively. From my stand point, the people in upper classes(not necessarily upperclassmen) are always together, and the kids who don't give a crap about school stick together, and there is a major difference between those groups of students.

Over all, high school can be partially represented in movies, but every school is different. Another high school, about 2 miles away from mine, has fights at least 4 times a week, and their policy isn't as strict as my school's.
