He also mentioned wanting HDMI and the Elite comes with the cable and buying one separately could easily cost most of that $100 difference.

So last year when taking my 360 home for spring break it ended up getting dropped and broken in transit :-( Now with the release of Halo 3 I couldn't resist not having one any longer and went out and boughtan Elite. The concern I have is with the disc constantly spinning when the system is in disc mode. This isn't only on loading screens but even at the opening start menu the disc is spinning at the top speed. I don't remember my old premium making this much noise unless the drive was actually loading something.

The second one is likely the idiot. The first store might or might not have been lieing. THe issue with release dates is that it's the shipping date, that is the day it leaves the warehouses. Typically you need to add one day for stores to get it but some stores are able to get early pickup by the manager picking the stock up from the airport rather than wait for Fed Ex the next day. Depending on the area that is usually only if there are a ton of preorders on the game.

I have owned both an iPod and Zune and have to say I like the Zune better, although I do miss the wheel. Zune has more features. Also iPods have a horrible track record with reliability. Every person I know (including myself) has had at least one iPod break long before it should. I have no idea what the failure rate on Zunes is but mine has been working very nicely. A has been stated before, the reason anyone buys an iPod is because it's the "cool" thing to own despite there being much better options out there.

slightly off topic, but have you considered a Creative Labs player? From everything I have heard they are the best quality and bang-for-the-buck.

I'd say moderately happy. I have been playing R: FoM but other than that there are no current games that have any appeal to me. I will be very happy with it after a number of key games start to be released. BUT this is what I do with every console. I addopt the console early just for certain games that will be released in the future and enjoy the somewhat less appealing games until the great ones are released.

Nah, saying Ratchet and Clank is only for kids is like saying you have to be 8 to appreciate Super Mario World. It has a light-hearted appearance but is just plain fun to play with all of the action, comical storyline and ridiculous gadgets. Plus, the R&C games on PS2 had some of the best graphics on the system, and the one for PS3 is sure to be one of the most, if not the most technilogically advanced games for the system. This is a major reason why I bought a PS3.

No. Console web browsers are far slower, less reliable, less functionality, harder to use, and harder to see what is on screen than on a PC, at least from what I could tell using the browsers on my PS3 and Wii.

Enchanted Arms on 360 reminded me of "Not Another Teen Movie" in that it's a compilation of every cliche of the genre it's in, only Enchanted Arms wasn't satire.

That being said, I liked the graphical ****and it has an interesting combat system and probably worth a look for someone who needs a Japanese ****RPG since there aren't really any other next gen options yet.

edit: something is wrong with the filter...the aserisks are S-T-Y-L-E

PSWii60 for me. Now all that I need is the PSWiigustavog117

I have a PSWii60 or maybe a PSthrii60, either way I have to say it's a heck of a console.
