so..  i just bought it.  it came king kong which is a visually stunning movie.   it's just TOO LONG!  anyway,  i am going to send in for my 5 free movies tomorrow.
i only have one problem.  i figured that since i got the HDdvd player that i should get the optical cable too, right?   just makes sense, so i can get 5.1 surround.   anyway-- there is quit a bit of lag when watching REGULAR dvd's in the HDdvd drive or the main drive with sound in 5.1 via the optical cable.  Digital stereo seems to have no problem.    watching king kong on HDdvd i didn't notice any lag with the sound.      ARE THEY GOING TO FIX THIS??!!

Ok.  So there are just too many games coming out that I want.

So here is my situation.  I just moved to California.  My half of the rent is $745 a month.  Plus food, plus school, gas, etc.  That doesn't leave much money for my gaming habits.  My sister's may be getting me Bioshock as a graduation gift for graduation college.  With my job, it's not much, but I make around 600 a month.  Which, if you do the math, puts me in the negative for cashflow.  Well, I have some saved up and I also took out loans to help me pay for graduate school.  He is hoping that I actually get ahold of this stuff.  If anyone wants to play some games on XBL feel free to add me on there.  my gamertag is huxley001.  I don't know how much free time I will have, but I don't have classes thursday or friday.  I am assuming much of that time will be used for working on school stuff, but just shoot me an invite and we'll get some games goin.
