@guitarist1980 @bouff @Salt_AU @Ghosthunter54 first of all, good Internet is expensive in some areas, be it urban or rural.
Games are just entertainment and i think its unfair to make someone spend more on something they have already bought. unless u live alone, $300 for one month of decent Home Internet connection is a lot of money to spend on games i already own so, No thank u to the always on-line console!
@lhsjazzman Developers should really concentrate on PC gaming and work out ways in which they can reduce piracy (like how Diablo 3 managed). i like the PC better because i dont only use it for gaming and multimedia but it also makes me some bucks, it can come along with me at the office + it looks less irritating to my girlfriend than the console which a lot of people in my area find a little weird
however, i would have loved it if they did a great job on the next gen consoles, just dont leave out the pc. without it, the industry might crash (most gamers play on pc than the console)
@tightwad34 @Dasim64 i have to admit, a good looking game without good story and gameplay is crap but like it or not graphics really add up to the enjoyment of a game. no matter how good the story is, if its physics, realism and art is similar to a 1998 release, tell me you would play such a game three times more and enjoy as much as playing something with the same good story plus modern graphics, art and everything (BF3 looking like doom 1995,.......not so amazing)
let the new consoles be advanced machines capable of running mind blowing graphics so that the producers make mind blowing games with mind blowing stories to make an effing mind blowing hell of a gaming year worth investing on
@CarnivaleClown @axelx666 couldn't agree more. we are lucky to have played these games back in the day. these days, we don't see a lot of good R.T.S games being released ....., making me reach a point where im starting to feel like im loosing my good taste for RTS games.
