i got a lvl 80 in aoc and with the new pvp patch its awsome. if you have a really good pc i would go with aoc. if not i guss warhammer because aoc has performence problem on low pc

i didnt play warhammer yet but from watching HD videos on the internet the animation and graphics looks really bad. everyone is saying thyat warhammer is the best, but wait 2 to 3 weeks and people will see its crappy like every mmo launchmetal_head_5566

From what I know Eurogamer originally gave WoW an 8/10, and didn't change it to a 10/10 till a year ago.

i saw on the spot this week and it looks really good, i was wondering if people who have played the game already think i should give it a try (when its out in the U.S.).

for reference, i liked guild wars but after i hit the level cap in 3 days i lost interest. i also played diablo 2 for three years. and i liked World of Warcraft but dont play it cause of the monthly fee.

The funny thing is, your being biased aswell, why cant a WoW player critisize Warhammer without being a fanboy? I played AoC hopeing it was better than WoW, turns out its a broken flash substancless mess with a very abusable combat system, no balance and a complete system hog.

Sounds like they are cutting content to rush the release date. Which is always bad. I'd rather they delay the game again then release an unfinished product (see Age of Conan). They can't afford to botch this up, first impressions are everything.

Now they cut the ****s because they were unfinished. And decided to launch the game anyway. Certain races are left without a main tanking ****because of the cuts. That leaves them at a clear disadvantage. If that's not rushing things to make a deadline, I'm not quite sure what is. EA and Mythic can spin it any way they like, but the fact remains that they are not including content at launch because it was in an unfinished state.

edit - umm, gamespot really needs a better profanity filter. Kind of hard to talk about RPG's without using the word clas* lol

Ok you obviously didn't read the article I posted a link to (which seems the link is broken for me, just copy the link and paste in browser and it works). Here, since you can't be bothered to read what the article posted, allow me to copy and paste a key part:

As the website notes, all of these are melee ****s and two of these were intended to be the primary tanking ****s for their race. This leaves the Empire and Dark Elf races without a dedicated tanking career

That's a bit more than trimming ****s that were fluff. Those are two races without a tank. And yes, losing 4 ****s out of 24 is bad, when it leaves certain races without a ****to fit a needed role.

But, I'm not going to argue, because it's obvious that you don't want to listen to anything remotely negative about WAR.
