we're getting watered down versions. dead rising had good gameplay, and we get RE4 with dead rising characters. RE4 was good, but we will never get the same feeling as dead rising, because of the lack of power the wii has. RE5 is a very detail-enhanced game, there are light effects like we wii owners just couldnt handle, and we will never get to, because we'll just get RE4 engine on RE5. i AM happy with what we have, but im not happy with what we COULD have had had the wii been as powerful as the other consoles.yeah but your missing out on motion controls aint ya pal? all the next consoles will have motion and the wii will have hd. After playing a fps on the wii i cant bare to play fps's on a normal boring (slow) pad i speak for many people. Also my mate played call of duty waw here and went home to play it on his 360 and he said he just couldnt get into it coz the controls where alot better on the wii. End of
For heaven's sake, what I meant is that graphics have to be great but not perfect....they should focus more on gameplay. And as for those games like GTA 4 and others, it doesn't matter if we missed those games on Wii. There are great ones to make up for itPices
exactly just be happy with what ya got, i know i am the wii is always on at night times when work is finished and when friends are round its on none stop coz they want to play it.

Ok...now he said that graphics look last gen, ok so? the gameplay matters! Games like Too Human, Sonic Unleashed (Ps3 or 360), Haze, Alone In The Dark(ps3 or 360), Legendary etc... had "next-gen" graphics but the gameplay ruined the game. In other words, graphics don't matter, if you were a true gamer, you would know that okay, lets get a few things straight. no matter what you say. graphics DO matter. id love to see you play any games where you can barely make out your character from a tree, where everything is so pixilated and jaggified that it actually imapairs your playability. secondly, the more powerful systems are what companies focus on. how come the wii doesnt get burnout? the gamecube got burnout? oh wait, the gamecubes graphics were up to par with the other systems. the fact of the matter is you live in a world chaulked-full of ideals that really only exist in your head. to say that graphics dont matter is like saying that gameplay doesnt matter. the fact of the matter is, is you've never been unable to play a game because of graphics, because developers make it a very important issue. and you honestly, HONESTLY, asked if i was a true gamer? well im gonna answer no. i probably play about 4 hours a week. right now ive been only playing wii fit. saying someone is a tru gamer is just as bad as being "herdcore" and you really dont seem to know anything about what your talking about.so what if its not on par with the other consoles whats your point? the wii have some great looking games? as ive pointed out well good enough for me. Also tthe wii is the most reliable console out there i had an xbox 360 that froze also most of mates ps3's have had to go back, 1 mates just broke yesturday for the second time and it was a new one!. But this thread wasnt about console wars it was showing that it has some great looking games.

Where did those producers say that? And where did RockStar say that the wii is getting an exclusive GTA?
Regardless, you still can't deny, as a gamer, that the wii's lack of graphical power is only HURTING the system at this point with all the AMAZING games we are MISSING out on and all the crappy PS2 and PSP ports we are getting instead!
As for IGN reviews, go look at the other consoles and how many more higher rated games they have, that is what Sonick meant by "wii does factually (review wise anyway) have the weakest lineup of the 3".
well the ds has a gta exclusive so the wii is def getting one so there!!
