the sata drives are built in on the mobo and ive tried to install 3rd party drivers what disk do i enter because ive tried entering the mobo disk and that doesnt work and my hard drive doesnt have anyhting to install i got it hooked up from the psu sata plug should i plug a sata cord from the psu in to the sata port and then run the slave offfthat too the hard drive or do i have it hooked up right and how do u update bios without a floppy drive
will an external hard drive be ok used to install windows xp this is a brand new computer and im trying to get it to work but when i go to install windows it says i dont have a hard drive installed and i dont know how to solve this prblem and no i havent updated my bios because im teying to figure out if u defiantely need a floppy drive or what to make it work without windows because i cant get it to install

are external hard drives really that much slower than internal ones and are external harddrives plug and play ready and arethey pretty stable because i cannot get my os to pick up my harddrive and i was wondering if external ones work pretty good
