Hello everyone. The unthinkable has happened. I think I have grown out of games :(

I am nearly 21 and have been playing games since I was 12. But lately I just don't seem to be getting the same enjoyment out of them, they just seem tedious, repetative and same old.

Even with games like SC2 which I got really hyped up about. Completed the campaign and though it was Meh.. Usually play two or three games online, then thats it for the day. Spend more of my time on forums / the internet! Don't have any other hobbies to do in my spare time, thats the problem.

Anyone else had the same thing?

What proof do you want? A/B is already charging a 20% premium for Wings of Liberty because they can

...

They can say that they're releasing expansions at $40 a pop all they want. It's still 20% or more of what Expansions go for in the market.

...

Melee_Penguin

They are not charging a higher amount 'because they can'. They are charging a premium, because people are prepared to pay that premium on Blizzard products. Just like you pay a premium on other items, from groceries to cars. People pay for a good brand, that has a track record of quality.

People aren't stupid, if it's not worth it, they won't buy it.

[QUOTE="Nino_ze"]that's your opinion, but I think that beside SC series and Warcraft series, C&C games defined RTS gamesDanielDust
Defined, yes, past tense. The last good C&C imo was RA 2, the last decent one was Generals. It's been quite a few years since that "good" series ended.

C&C Generals was really good imo.

The battle.net login servers won't go online until the 27th anyway.

No, they have the story of the previous game on the SC2 website. I think it will also be included in the game somehow.

If it's dirt cheap, I'll buy it on steam even if I already have the boxed copy. Just because it's more convenient.

Deus Ex was one example I can think of.

Hmm, tricky. But I would have to go for SC2 tbh. If you compare the players who currently play SC1 and D2, I'd say the people who still play SC1 are definately in the majority.

Why haven't we seen a true sucessor to Sim City 4 yet? That game was awesome! It still is, but its age is showing.

I know Maxis sold the franchise to some other company. I wonder why they haven't done anything with it, or why another company hasn't made a good city builder akin to SimCity4?
