longest enjoyment= online play.. 'once you've hunted human.. all else.. *yawn*' - creepy, but truthful. so i'd go with gears.

unless you're an rpg fan, oblivion will keep you hella busy.. assuming you have the attention span. the game is beautiful and hella long with all the side quests. to be honest i play it more than geow but it gets boring and i always find myself going back for a frag on Geow

most of the hardware failure is due to over heating.. *duh* and 99.9% of the time its fixed by adding thermal paste. i'm on my third box and the warranty for this one died out some months ago.. and behold i got the ROD. so, i opened it up, took out the gpu and cpu, replaced the paste *which is poorly placed to begin with to be honest :-/* and vuala, no more rings :) i could leave it on for days. hope this helps.

i wouldn't wait, i'd go ahead and get one. just be sure to get the warranty. :)

what do you mean? they've been too busy banning people and trying to up their "pirating" protection software.. it's all over the web. i agree with you though.. they have been cutting back on announcements. PS3 is getting crap copies.. wii didn't live up to the "godly" hype it was thought to be either.. microsoft prolly feels there's no need to unveil anything until e3 ^^ like someone said above. they've got the lead this year.

oh and.. no wonder half of you complain about the 3 red lights of death.. your 360's are in confined spaces.. they can't breathe.

use the 360 requires too much power.. and having it directly plugged into the wall for the most (non split) energy will be healthier for it and improve its lifespan over using a surge protector etc

since you don't have a warranty anyway.. pay a 3rd party small business who mods 360's to open it up and diagnose the system. search google for them. microsoft wont give a crap if you send it to them and 150$ is too much anyway.. besides you wont get it back for a few weeks. believe there's a group that'll ask for 10$ to diagnose the system.. then if you decide to have it fixed.. 70 bucks so actually 60 extra.. they do a good job and they can be trusted. if you want to know specifically who pm me for details.
