True. 360 is a disaster so there may not be a next xbox.
There will be I hope I love xbox and the things that microsoft have done to the console community I honestly don't belive mircrosoft will step down from the console buissness , they want to become top dog.
Gears will become the must have title for microsofts consoles once halo 3 has come out and the halo franchise is dead and gone, but at the moment it's halo 3 prepare to see a big increase in 360 sales as soon as halo 3 comes out.

HA-Ha?! That is funny single-players games are boring to you. Is that a joke? How can single-playersparts of games be boring? That is where the story amd the gameplay is, not to be rude but you must have no imagination. To me multi-player(Live, online) parts of games are without a doubt are boring because there is no story and really all you for most of these multi-player games is to go around killing the other players and the players with the most kills wins that round and then you keep on doing that same thing over and over again. You can't tell that is not boring? That is why I think that multi-player parts of games are boring.
I also prefer playing ultiplayer of games sure I'll play the odd single player game but when Im playing it I just know I wont be having as much as I do when I play multiplayer with all of my friends, so ha at you because someone has a differnt preference to you doesn't mean you should give them jip.
dedicated servers this game could be really fun online I might have to get it although if it comes out after bioshock or halo3 I might be a little pre occupied

Why 4 years mininum microsoft made the 360 just about 4 years after the first xbox so I say wait about 2 years and we will start hearing about a new console and maybe 43-4 years and we will have a new microsoft console.
Forza is a huge game with loads of online options and stuff it will definitly last a long time especially if you like racing games, I havent played dirt though so I really cant say which one is better.
I think it's alrite, it has graphics that are too shiny although when I first got my 360 on release they were amazing, the multiplayer is also really good but there are annoyences to the game that distract from having fun with it.
It certainaly does help when playing a game it adds a feeling to the game so that when you get hit or crash or something it alerts you to it more, so on online games if your being hit it's much easier to recognise that you are.
