The latest update fixed and added a load of new stuff but the best feature is the new 'High Precision' mode.
This can be toggled on and on in the options menu and what it does is completely change the aiming control.
A lot of people were put off this game or have stopped playing it because of the heavy, accelerating aiming with the right stick.
The aiming with Precision Mode turned on is much more sensitive to little movements and a lot more stable. More similar to the aiming of COD4 for example.
Although I got used to the old aiming, putting Precision Mode on made it so much more comfortable and easy. Head-shot city!
So if you passed or gave up on this game, give it a try. The precision mode now comes as default with new games.
Now that the controls have been perfected, it can be enjoyed by many more people as the explosive and technically brilliant PS3 exclusive it is.

I actually hate this new patch so much. I had a 1.65 K/D spread before this patch and it's already dropped to 1.6 in 2 days play. It's brought the skilled players with the old controls and the noob CoD fanboys to equal terms. If you can't play properly, don't make the good players suffer for it. And as your Head-shot city comment proves, it makes things for the CoD noobs way too easy. So yea, if you're a CoD noob, you're gonna love the new controls. If you're a good Killzone player, I feel your pain. What's even worse about this patch is the new spawn nades with no safe-time. I'm all for evening up the fact that spawn camping and not being killed is unfair, but now you spawn and you're dead again from campers before you even see your surroundings. they shoulda kept the safe-time and prevented players spawners from firing in their safe time. Love the new sentry bots, and this is my first EVER complaint from GG's. They've done a great job with everything else, bar this.
