I personally commend your parents. I think people should respect the rating system. It's there for a reason. Some people on this thread said that it's the kids responsibility to know it's not real, and that it's not the video games fault. I do not have any scientific eveidence, but I know that when you are a teenager you have all these hormones stirring up in your body and the brain is probably adjusting to the changes, which can make younger people more vulnerable to what they see. Let your brain acclimate to the new conditions for a while, and then when you're 17 get the game or whatever will be equivilant to GTA in that time.
I don't eat while I play, but I like to take a break after a while and eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with water, then I go back to playing.:) Did you ever try chewing gum while playing? It just feels weird to me, like it doesn't fit or something.
