@moataz1993 @ilantis For example I bet everyone here who ever made a decent weapon didn't just go and forge random weapons , by wasting an indecent amount of souls and rare materials (and I don't think there is neither fun or challange in farming both just for this purpose), but obviously used some kind of online guide to find the best weapon available.
Some aspects of the game just need to be more accessible (and this doesn't include the overall difficulty)
@moataz1993 @ilantis I also agree that the game is one of the best I've ever played, I'm just saying that it's not perfect and they could have worked more on some aspects of the game that you are bound to overlook. For example I only realized after NG+ that the game is so much easier if you use a magician instead of a warrior.
Wanna know why Dark Souls is hard ? BECAUSE THE DON'T EXPLAIN HOW THE FRIGGING GAME WORKS
After you get that the game is just challenging, too bad you realize that after you finish it the first time.
The game is hard yes, but sometimes (not always) both the challanges and the solutions are really lame (eg: shooting 100+ arrows at the dragon's tail to get the Drake sword; finding yourself in a room 4x4m with the Capra Deamon and if you have slow weapons equipped you are fu**ed; Having to lure the Magma boss out a bazziolion times before he dies; having a stupid undead with a torch go berserk and kill you with a hundred hits combo; having to cross an invisible bridge where your death is certain unless you bought a trillion colored stones in a completely different part of the map; discovering nearly at the end of the game how to upgrade your fu**ing weapons; getting invaded by an asshole who shoots arrows at you while standing near NPCs so that you can't do sh!t to him; having to fight Smugh and Ornestein with another online player otherwise it's unecessarily hard; having to fist die in the abyss and then say "oh ok so THIS is the abyss, if the game told me I would have equipped the MOTHAFU**ING RING"; many others...)
Still the game is fun and challenging, even more fun the second time around, but I wish it wasn't so lame on some specific aspects...
