In this article, Carmack says that the ps3's cell processor wasnt theboon it was made out to be to developers.

Also, Hollenshead says quote "Sony had a bunch of hardware engineers talking about [the cell's] theoretical power, but (Carmack) said 'yeah, this isn't how software people work'and they said 'yeah, this is how they should work.'"

The article also says "To date, Carmack still feels the architechture of the ps3 doesnt deliver the power promised."

Haha sony fails once again, its one jewel the cell is finally exposed as a useless piece of crap.

This game looks absolutely amazing and anyone who has a high end PC should pic this game up ASAP, it does not only have superior graphics technically speaking that closely rival Crysis' and in some cases beats it, but its graphical level artistically speaking is breath-taking with its rich atmosphere and mood.

I know of quite a few great games coming out for the PC this fall/winter, but can anyone recommend some great games coming out around now or later this summer, dont want to suffer from another summer drought :(

The PS3 has a piece of equipment that no pc would dream of having and that is the cell procesor, its the main technology that drives the PS3 to play MGS4 with all of its high textures. Even with the PCs new equipment and graphics chip, it probably could play MGS4 as smoothly or beautifully as the PS3 can. That is probably why that MGS4 will NEVER be on any other console or PC, because they just cant handle the game. I truly belive that MGS4 is the most graphcally advanced game ever made to this point. Just another reason why the PS3 is not only superior to all other consoles, but to expensive PCs as well.
