Didn't really have much interest in the game but after reading several good coments about its depth, I'm thinking about checking it out. I dont really play RTS's that much, the only RTS's in my collection are C&C:TB, WCIII, and COH. I really like games like HL2, CSS, Doom 3, Crysis, COD4. You guys think that I should pick this one up or a little too slow paced for my taste?
The sites that you can download them from have a "vista 32-bit" version. I have vista 64-bit, does that mean they wont work on my OS and I have to find the 64-bit version, or is the 32-bit version fine for me?
I'm confused between two procesors, should I get the new 45nm e8400 dual core 3.0ghz or should I get an older 65nm quad core q6600 2.4ghz. Keep in mind on most sites the q6600 is only 50$ more than new e8400.

Also, I have a tube crt monitor, someone told me that the monitor doesn't really affect the gaming experience, even when playing high end games. Is that true, or should I get a lcd flat panel or something?
Hey, I'm planning on buying a PC that can run Crysis smoothly on high-very high settings. Im getting a Q6600, a 8800gt, and 3gb of ram with vista 32bit. Thing is on some other harware forums I've been browsing on, they say that right now isnt the best time to buy a PC. They said that much better processors and graphics cards are coming out soon.
Is this true? And if so, what are these new processors and cards coming out?
