@zeropr0xy: When you actually get to where you can upgrade your shurikens, they become a lot more effective. Plus you want to wait for strategic openings to throw them. If you're just throwing them randomly well of course you're gonna get them blocked.
Doesn't sound like you've played very far into it. And if you feel its just block and posture broken, I don't feel you've got the full grasp of the control scheme. But that's just my opinion. As we both have very different ones. Your real deal review is not the real deal for me.
@tekuro: Not really. If you find the right techniques per fight, you'll find the way out of being stuck. That and practice on said enemy. At least for me that worked.
@Cikatriz_ESP: I agree with you fully. While I did make it further into the game, the hair pulling continues lol. So I end up putting it down and coming back to it. I don't mind a hard game but when enemies know where you are randomly from across the map, it can be a teeth clenching situation. Not to mention boss fights.
@Acheron18: Just hitting the first main boss, you find out how hard it really is. No NPC help, no co op, its really a matter of getting good or ripping your hair out.
If this is what MS feels is going big then they might as well go home. Hoping there's more than just some streaming service that people like me give no cares about.
