Sony is headed towards turning PSN into Steam or mobile marketplaces with these kinda "games." Notice they only asked dev to change names and descriptions but it'll probably come back afterwards.
Sony already have their classification and vetting process screwed up in not assigning plats based on a rational of, say, length or skill. Games like Resident Evil 4, Outlast, SOMA, Beyond Good & Evil, Quantum Conundrum, Hard Corps Uprising and some other difficult PSN games with no plats but trash like this gets one because they paid more money to Sony or whatever the actual reason is.

Next sentence was important too as it confirms author is merely pointing out the obvious direction the series is going with it's parody of modern politics. To not point that out for the sake of not hurting the feelings of some remaining Trumpists is what's absurd to me.
It also contradicts you where you say, "There is no need to include this political slight about a game having nothing to do with reality,..," when there is a strong connection between both and it's obviously going for a parody.
It made me even more interested in this game and it'll probably sell more because of it not pandering to the PC SJW climate and having the creative courage to do what news around the world is already doing. For once, videogames will have the balls to do so before Hollywood, where a movie will come out years from now capitalizing on the same reality.
@Verenti: Hey, I was just passing by and had the privilege of being subjected to your now deleted all-too-serious rant. Me interpreting it as such is no big deal but when the mod does too (1+1=2 people), it's your own writing skill and tone that you should be examining. Now that's truly comedic. Or, you know, stop trying to flip it with lies because your all-too-serious defense of it still present above wouldn't have occurred otherwise.
I would say you take videogame journalism too seriously if it makes you resort to parental insults, when in actuality it distills your whole intellectual arrogance to a juvenile level, but I had the feeling there was more personal turbulence afoot since your first rant. You don't want to fight me on top of the mods because you're an easy one.
@Verenti: You mentioning his upbringing and mother is a fact. You can try disputing your moderation and it's true intent with a few more all-too-serious rants. Then pretend, once again, you're only being the local comment jokester columnist from the goodness of your heart and excessive free time boredom.
