For the life of me I've pressed every button and I can't make the Twinblade pick up any of the tanks. Does anyone know how? thanks

Alone in the Dark.

I knew it was supposed to be bad... but I wasn't expecting atrocious. It's a terrible, awful game.

Honestly though, I would recommend getting it for $40.

The game is really good, but it definately isn't $60 quality. You can get Super Street Fighter 4 (which I think is a better game) BRAND NEW for like $30 bucks now (It was released brand new at $40).

I got Mortal Kombat for only $20 because I traded it a bunch of games. If I had paid $60 I would have not been as excited about it. The reason why I like it so much now is because I feel that I got a tremendous deal on a game that otherwise, even at $60, is a really good game.

yeah it's pretty easy. the special moves are not crazy hard to do like in Super Street Fighter 4. Normally its, like, down, back, B. or something. It's definately more accesible than Street Fighter, but doesn't have the depth. I guess you trade of simplicity of moves/controls for complexity of fighting mechanics. overall, it's awesome. And, you don't need an arcade stick to be competetive online. The controller works perfect since there are only 4 attack buttons (instead of 6 attack buttons like SF).

oh nevermind I finally found the online pass. It was in the inside of the box, underneath the manual and other advertisements. So.. yeah.. the game is great.

Game is suprisingly awesome. I had my doubts because I tuned out of MK when MK3 came out in like 1993. The first MK1 was my faviorte I think that was 1991.

MK9 brings it back to MK1/MK2 days, while adding some of the Tekken-style combos found in MK3 (no combo is more than 3 hits unless you get creative and add in some extra stuff on your own). So it's very easy to get into.

Overall, I'm really really enjoying it. So glad to see many of the elements in MK1 make it to this version. One thing I can't figure out is how the online works. It says I need to purchase a pass to play online, which is BS because I bought the game brand new, unopened. This is stupid if I have to pay extra to play online, if so, I'd say immediate BOYCOTT.

I bought the game brand new. It says I need to enter a pre-paid code to play online. What? There's no code anywhere in the game box or reciept. It costs $10 to buy one. HUH!?

WHen I play as the Alchemist, as soon as I conjure up some zombies to fight for me, my mana continues to drain and it keeps automatically spawning zombies. And the audio quip "You need more mana" just repeats itself.

Anyone else get this?

Because most people in the US are White or White / Hispanic / European descent, and most of the developers are also white. They are making a product to cater to their target audience, which are mostly made up of White people. I'm not White, and I don't see this as bias of any sort because it's reflecting the reality of the market and what it demands.

Also, most games now days feature pivotal side-characters that are not White, and often have a very close and positive relation to the main character.I think that's a good way to put some balance into the ethnic make up of most games.
