@mike468 Sony has spent millions in revisions on their controllers. Have you seen how many different prototype controllers they have made since the first PS? They want the best controllers for their system as much as the next company.

@Meta-Gnostic I have both PS+ and XBL G and would say that the game offerings on PS+ are better. I've been playing Uncharted 3 for the last few days.

I like the organization of the XB layout better even if it's somewhat cluttered. I love the clean layout of the PS3 UI but it lacks the sorting options on the XB UI.

I wish I could have the best of both!

I can't see Wii U hitting over 100m. If 50 to 100m goes to XBOne then 200 - 250m could go to PS4 if the total is around 400m.

That would be the best selling console to date!

Lets look at past and current numbers to predict the future numbers.

PS2 era sales for the top three about 200m.

PS3 era sales for the top three about 250m to date. (Still rising could see it gaining to about 300m)

PS4 era sales could reach 400m. Maybe 500m. I don't know about 1 BILLION!!!

When someone wants next gen now they buy a PS3 or 360. Why buy a Wii U?

I have a Wii U, PS3 and 360. I can't say there are many games I want for the Wii U I yet. I'm waiting for something good.

If I didn't have any of the current gen I would opt for either 360 or PS3 instead of Wii U.

@wasakaka I think that's what he's talking about. Showing off the actual hardware running games. Not just the specs.

@ClaudiusCaesar It would seem that if there are 40M Live accounts then a little over half of the 360's are online and there are free Live accounts within that number that cannot play games online.

PSN is spread across four platforms. I would hope they have more accounts.

As a side note I have both a PSN and Live account and don't play games online on consoles. Gaming online is for the PC.

@ClaudiusCaesar 40M doesn't mean 40m Xbox Live Gold memberships.

There could be a large number that has a free account.
