After a lifetime of saying "i like everything but country", I've finally decided to try it out. Can I get some good stuff to listen to that'll get me into it?

i play multiplayer online a lot but i still prefer having friends round and playing splitscreen. in my opinion it makes it more enjoyable. but that's just me. what are your thoughts?
the big huge boss dude in the second level of superman returns. couldnt even beat the second level. but thats probly just cause i sucked at a sucky game. put me off almost all superhero games since (except for inFamous and Batman Arkham Asylum)
