[QUOTE="infinity475"][QUOTE="DataDream"][QUOTE="infinity475"]I got the halo 3 edition 360 in november and i play it about 3-7 hours a day everyday up till now, and i still havent gotten any RRoD's or any problem whatsoever. Mine is still scratch free, and i clean the controllers and system once a week. But my friend has had a 360 pro for bout 3 months longer then me but he only plays it for about 2 hours every couple of days and hes gotten the RRoD's a couple times. And 2 of my friends also have the halo 3 edition and they still havent had any problems. So is it true that the halo 3 edition is more reliable then the regular ones?

The Halo 3 was one of the first Falcon consoles - so is it true that it is better than other Falcon consoles? NO - they all are more reliable. It is true however that it is most likely going to be more reliable than pre-Falcon models of the console regardless of which model.
May i ask what a falcon console is? Srry bout the noob question. The newer consoles codenamed "Falcon" have different motherboards and their CPU is cast on a 65nm die size as opposed to the 90nm size of the earlier consoles. The smaller die size means that they run cooler and more efficiently which makes it so they are far less likely to get the RROD.
There's more to it than that - but that's it in a nut shell. All of the new 2008 consoles are pretty much assured to be Falcon's.
Understood, thanks.Getting RROD or any other system falure is not related to the game you play. Did i understand you correctly?Lord-NerevarNo, its not game related just hardware related problems.

I play on a philips 26"LCD HDTV in my room, and sometimes on my philips 42" HDTV in the living room. I wanna try and get a 30" samsung for my room.
I have been playing a lot of cod4 recently (mainly team deathmatches) but the standard is so damn high, all i need to do it seems is just poke my head out of a door and im shot. Or turn and corner and bang. hell, I can be waiting for an enemy and know exactly where he is and he wont know of me till he sees me and I will still get freakin killed! Im not bad at cod4 even, I always play the single player in the one down from hardest. Does anyone else have this too??en3sge
I havent played COD4 in over 4 months, and now is when im back in the game and ive been playing nonstop. And dude COD4 is a modern warfare game, in real life the same thing applies; your bound to run into somebody(or a sniper) sooner or later. And im also an average player(except when im calm and tired, then im a pro), and i havent had any problems so far. I planned on playing today but, XBL is down for me till tommorow.
I just tried making an account on my gamercard.net to get a gamersig for gamespot, but when i confirmed it and went to my email, the confirmation link wasnt there. Its happend with other confirmation links, and now i cant get a gamercard. Can someone help me out?
yup thats exactly it, and when i first signed in everything was fine, it let me go into the marketplace, buy the new maps, download them, but after i downloaded them i started having problems(i was about to delete them cause of it) Ive been playing everyday nonstop, cause i havent played COD4 in over 4 months.
I heard there was an update yesterday that was giving everybody problems and massive lag, so i didnt sign in. But today i just downloaded the COD4 map, but now whenever i try to play a game online it says downloading game settings, and when im on the dashboard signed in to xbox live, the Sign in to Xbox live link is still there and it doesnt let me contact any of my friends. So does anybody know what the problem is?
