@heqteur I live in a town of about 63,000 people and have not seen one in a Walmart, Target or Gamestop yet. There is one great game out now and that is BoTW......but I bought it day one for my Wii U. So that leaves Mario Kart 8 (with a few extra bells & whistles) which I already have for the U and Splatoon which has lost it's appeal to me. Am I missing anything until Mario comes out this holiday season ?
@bmadison19 Your comment is spot on except for one point ..... "console level games on a handheld". This is true to a certain level as long as you do not use the term CURRENT console level games. People are quick to point out the lack of power compared to the PS4 and Xbone but need to keep in mind that, as you said, this is a handheld with a docking station.
@fig56 I wonder if Mario being in a city environment will kill the nostalgia for some die hard fans? I for one think it is a ballsy move on Nintendo's part and look forward to seeing more of it.
I look forward to picking one up when A) There are more great games B) Supply is at a respectable level without having to constantly check availability and track down a unit.
Judging by the gameplay video..... I think I would rather be the dude who dies 2 minutes into the movie before the title screen comes up. This looks horrendous.
