@joshrmeyer yep.....and by then either the price of the Switch will have dropped.....or there will be a cheap bundle with a pack in game......or you will be able to save at least a hundred bucks by buying a used Switch.....

@cboye18 My gameplan exactly. I own a Wii U so I will buy Zelda for that.......the graphics will be about the same. No more major titles coming out for months.....so why not wait ????

@aross2004 Hey.....I have been a HUGE Nintendo fanboy and have owned every Nintendo system since the NES. For me, the current Nintendo system was the "must have" before I purchased another system. I have waited on a PS4 and Xbone because I knew the NX/Switch was coming out. But after seeing the presentation Thursday night, I bought a month old PS4, two controllers and COD Inf. Warfare and Uncharted 4 for $190 off Craigslist. A more powerful system, extra controller and two games for nearly half the price. Even if I bought new and paid retail I would get a more powerful system AND a pack in game for the same price. I am just tired of Nintendo screwing their customers.

So let's see.......as a console the Switch can not compete with the PS4 and Xbone. As a portable the 3DS can not compete with the Switch. Is Nintendo PURPOSELY trying to commit suicide ?????

Everything I need to know is $300 WITHOUT a pack in game, NOTHING worth a crap at launch besides Zelda (which I can play on my U), no other decent games within months with Mario being almost a year away and I have to pay for their crappy online service BUT I get to play ONE "free" 30-year old game each month. I have owned every Nintendo system since the NES........but I am out.

@titang1 I am taking preorders for my dog's turds but am limiting those pre-orders to 5. I have already sold them so I am sold out of pre-orders. Does that mean EVERYONE wants to buy a dog turd ?

I am a 50 year old gamer that has been a Nintendo fanboy since the NES and have owned every Nintendo system ever. I have a PS3 and 360 but had not jumped aboard the PS4/Xbone train yet. Twenty years of being taken for granted by Nintendo (the first ten, Nintendo actually gave a crap about their customers) have left a bad taste in my mouth. Then, with the blatant "release" of the NES Classic Edition of very few units just to stay relevant and the laughable planned launch of the Switch........I finally have said "screw it" and purchased a month old PS4, two controllers, COD Infinite Warfare and Uncharted 4 for $190 on Craigslist. So long Big N......look forward to playing your games on other systems after the Switch bombs even bigger than the U.

Lies.....lies.....and more lies. The NES Classic was not meant to make money. When you look at how miserly greedy Nintendo is with their 30 year old games, the NES Classic with its 30 games at $60 is actually LOSING money for Nintendo. Nintendo put a limited number of Classics out there for only one reason.....so they could somehow be relevant and at least talked about during the holiday season. Nintendo is a master of this and could care less about their customers. That is why after being a Nintendo fanboy since the NES and being greatly disappointed in the Switch, I went out this weekend an purchased a PS4 and for the first time will sit out a Nintendo generation and play any IPs such as Zelda on my crappy Wii U.

THIS is a launch lineup ???? Someone just shoot Nintendo now to save them a long, painful death.
