I have a little over 600$ almost 700 and I was thinking, with a budget like that can I build a prety good pc to run the latest high end games i.e Crysis/COD4 on okay settings.I already have some things like the monitor and speakers so.

I'll be buying all my goodies from Newegg.

I agree with rogerjak. The picture looks grainy because it's the "art style", it's like saying Team fortress 2 is crap because the graphics are cartoonishcifru

LOL

Well if you would hit it in the back where it has the least amount of armor then just maybe you might kill it, common knowledge. You can even see the two turbuines when you blow off the cover... its prety cool actually.

I'm looking for a nice low budget monitor that isnt cheap, as in not work after a week. I will use it with my 360... 19-20'' is what I'm looking into because my budget is around 200$ and thats pushing it but theres quite a few out there so looking for some recommendations.

like they said before , overheating, so i owuld let it cool off for a little, then relocate it to an open area with good air flow (not next to your tv, where the tv will give off heat to it), and then put it sideways instead of upwards (if its not already like that), helps the air flow better. maybe consider getting a cooling fan thing for it, or anything that will cool it off. 8)knighthwk001

I think he has tried that already. If that doesnt work then its because its full of dust and it needs to be cleaned out .... the most effective way is to acctualy open it but its risky if you dont know what your are doing so unless he has like a prety strong shop vacuum its gonna be dufficult to do it from the outside

I had the same exact problem it was ridiculous it would happen even in arcade games ....

My warranty was already voided so I had nothing to lose , I opened it up and there was like a wall of dust on one of the heatsinks covering the entire side and I just cleaned it and now it runs perfectly. Its quieter than before while playing normal games , the fans dont run at full speed anymore.

You said you've had it for two years so I would imagine its been collecting for a while.
