-What's wrong with the industry? There's just too much deja-vu games, when a sequel to a game comes out, you pay like 60$ just to see it's the same thing than the last one. But when a good innovative game comes out, it's ignored by everyone. -What's good with the industry? Consoles are getting very versatile, with lots of services, different ways to play, and (some) new ips that are really interesting. -Where do you see the industry in five years? Almost the same as this year, maybe with better graphics and higher prices, if companies keep merging together, we are doomed to monotony and endless sequels
If developers really take advantage of this new MotionPlus maybe Red Steel 2 will be the game we expected the first one to be. And I can't even imagine a Legend of Zelda with 1:1 sword movements.
I'm just waiting for some sort of extraordinary last-second no-one-expected surprise (something like a new Zelda or a Half-Life 3 or a Perfect Dark 3 or a Gears of War 3)
I think people shoul play as long as they want as long as it does not harm their academic and social performance. Addiction is not about hours, it's about not making priorities.
Looks nice, the Ds still has a lot of potential and there are many games that could be done with the new stuff the Dsi has so I might buy one. Good move Nintendo
