Ok so theres this new girl in my karate class, she's hot, she's about my age, (I'm 13. she's about that age between 12, 13, and 14.) and I want to get to know her, maybe ask her out.

Here's the problem. This other kid, Cody, he's about 15, he's ruining everything! First before class started (We're brown belts in the most advanced class with red, blue, and black belts.) he was acting all crazy, I was just on my PSP and he tried ripping the earbuds out and then as soon as I put my PSP away he started acting like a 3 year old. He was trying to run after me like a chicken trying to slap me, um yeah. And then he starting talking to the girl and told her that I always get beat up and then she walked away from his annoyingness. Then in class he keeps whispering to this other kid and stuff about me. Then in drills he was supposed to come after me trying to punch me lightly while I blocked, he was punching me hard and kept singing this strange song. But most of all he's just making me look bad, and I'm forced to walk away while he's trying to do all this crazy stuff. I mean seriously, he's making this hard.

Well anyway about the girl, how should I approach her, I need to do something about Cody first, my dad said I should just act cool and say "Dude, calm down." and make him look bad. This is the first girl I'll be talking to in a while since all the girls in my neighborhood are either ugly, or really, sleezy. What should I do?
