So for someone that played Destiny 2 maybe five years ago and essentially missed a lot (all, maybe) of the expansions, how does that work for a returning player?
Is it like WoW where you can pick what expansion you want to play? Or do they sort of fast track you to the most recent expansion and give you a "previously, on Destiny 2" primer?
And would it even be worth it to play through/purchase the older expansions at this point?
Fast tracked, and no. It's not really worth it to buy past expansions, unless you wait for a good discount. Black Friday every year usually has D2 with all expansions (except for the latest release) for a pretty nice, little deal. So, If you don't wanna get ripped off on essentially "dead content"... just get the latest expansion. Plus, the only thing you really ever miss out on, by not doing the previous expansions is the season exclusive weapons and armor that generally never really exceed the meta offerings anyways.
This is why i love this show. You see shit that's completely unexpected, and never seen in movies or other shows.
It's what most of us love about the show, but You know what happens when you give people too much of a good thing?!?!?... Won't be too long before the liberals of the world unite, and bitch enough to the right people to ruin it for everyone else.
@j3diknightdave: with you, dude. It seemed uninteresting to me, so I didn't watch it until after all the hype. It was fine and some of the visual effects were cool, but it didn't resonate with me at all.
same and same. I didn't finally get around to watching it until years after release.
I know a lot of people liked 'Inception' but, I personally didn't care for the movie too much. However, I loved 'Interstellar' and 'Dunkirk' was pretty good... and, of course 'The Dark Knight'
@j3diknightdave: Live sporting-type events don't care about spoilers. You know by now that if you don't want something like this to be spoiled, you gotta stay off the Internet until you see it. It's meant to be experienced live.
No one's whining about the Super Bowl winner being spoiled.
You know what? Your right. That's also true for a number of other things, not just sporting events, but movies & games.
Isn't the first time this has been done here on gamespot, won't be the last... that's for sure.
